Meet Clancy the Pomchi. (Pomeranian Chihuahua) Clancy is a rescue dog that was lost, abandoned, unwanted, starving, and covered with fleas. When asked if I could take the dog in, how could I say "No"? Look at that face! And he is so loving and sweet!

  • your pictures of Clancy before made me cry. I dont understand how anyone can be so cruel to these wonders from God. God bless you for caring and loving so much. Thank you from this big bag of mush for doggies. I have 4 little dogs of my own. I will put some pictures of them one here in the future.

  • Hi Carol..Clancy is so very lucky to have found you!!I don't think he could have found a better home. Thank you so much for your kind words on my albums. Each and every monkey or baboon that comes in to me is so precious and some are so abused and traumatized that it takes months to rehab them into a troop. If only i could rescue dogs and cats as well!! Give Clancy a big hug from me..he is so precious. Lynn South Africa.

  • Sixty poms were recently rescued by our county shelter. I'm sure they are making alot of people happy that have adopted them.

  • Hello Friends. I just fixed up some of Clancys photos and added a few here and there. Under the close-up photo above of Clancy in his bath, I added this note....Here you can see how Clancys mouth is swollen because he had broken teeth. We think he must have tried to chew his way out from a fence or cage, or the vet said he may have been trying to eat rocks. We had some of his broken teeth removed, and we had him fixed, wormed, and got his shots the first week, plus he had two flea baths. We spent over $400.00 that week on this free dog, but he's worth it! ~Carol Jean~

  • Dear Carol, What a Sweet Little Doggie. All Your Doggies are so Cute. I showed my Daughter, Lori your albums and she loved them. She had one kitty who is about 19 years old. She loves her "Tigger". When you get a chance I would love to know just how many doggies, Kitties, and Teddies you have.   • Hi I to found a stray pomchi 2 months ago. His name is Toby. I looked for the owners and acourse no collar or chip and could not locate them. Im kept hi. and hes a great gift to me since I lost my dog of old age last year. If you come across anyone who is looking for to give a 2 year old up let me know. Toby would love to have a friend. God love you for opening up your heart

  • Hello everyone! We've had Clancy now for 8 months and he's fat and sassy. His coat is think and shiny, he's strong and playful and he's very devoted and affectionate. You couldn't want a nicer dog. I just took some new photos of him out on the deck and I've put them at the end of this album.   • Hi! Well, three different vets all told me he was a Pomchi. He looks like a Chihuahua, but his ears are rounder and thicker like a Pom's. He's still doing very well. He was 6 1/2 pounds when we got him and now he's 11 pounds and where before you could feel every bone on his body, now he's plump and firm. Thanks for asking, Carol Jean and Clancy.

He is such a darling little fellow and he just tugs at my heartstrings. I am looking forward to seeing more photos of him and I am glad that he lives in a home filled with love and generosity.   • Hi Windflowers, Clancy is doing very well. He's putting on weight and plays and runs circles around the yard with Sophie and Daisy. They are good friends and all sleep together on a blanket on the floor. He is so sweet and friendly and loves to be held and cuddled. His fur is so smooth and silky I just love to pet him. I don't think he ever had any people food before and every time I offer him a bite of something he looks at it like he doesn't know what to do with it. He does really enjoy Cinnamon Graham crackers and milk at bedtime though. He likes milk. When we got him he could only eat 1/3 of a small can of dog food, because his tummy was so small from being starved. But now he can eat a whole can at once and he has that twice a day plus there's three kinds of dry food out all day long. He's no trouble at all, and he's sleeping by my chair right now. I'm so glad he came to live here with us, and I think he is too! Take care. Doggie Kisses, Carol Jean and the Doggies.
