Tommy The Blue Front (Featured Pet 4/6/07)

I wanted to post the first note here so you know more about Tommy when you see him. Besides being a beautiful bird he is my 6 year old boy. He whistles at the ladies, whistles for the dogs, whistles the whole Andy Griffith tune, part of Amazing Grace. He dials the phone, makes the ring sound and says hello. He says Dadddy, He's my bud, good boy, pretty boy, pretty bird, good morning, good night, and even told the vet to go away one time. If I say "He's my bud", Tommy replies "Yeah". Well, all those views and no one is saying how beautiful Tommy is! Let me be the first, then. He is very "Handsome" Andy, and I can tell you are a proud Dad. You have worked very hard with him by the looks of it, because they don't come from the pet store trained like he is. Your doing a great job, both with raising Tommy and with your photography of him. I have never seen such a bird as Tommy. He has gorgeous colours and is very cute. I wish I could take such good photos, but alas I just can't seem too. Keep up the good work Andy........ Lee

Hi Andy... So beautiful... I also have a blue fronted amazon... His name is Freddy... They are wonderful... I Have had mine for over 15 years now... I hand fed him... And he thinks I am his mom.. He is now on vacation in Utah with my son and family... And we talk on the phone a few times weekly.... He loves going bye bye... They are wonderful birds and Tommy looks just like my Freddy.... I also have an African Gray and a Military McCaw... Never a dull moment here... Your photos are great thanks for sharing them... Love them so much... Have a great evening... JoAnn
