Hi, Maria. Well great album, great captures and great captions!! I know where you`re coming from regarding title! I know you love him, but they can be a handful. I have a 8 month old Goldendoodle(Hybrid) and he is alot of dog! Going to doggie obedience training on the 24th of this month(can`t wait!). Thanks for the reminder that I`m not alone! Joan

Hi Maria, great album! They are such a big part of our lives!If I leave in the AM. with out taking our child dog Precious, she goes right back to where my better half is sleeping , jumps up into the bed and wakes her up as tho to be telling on me, blackmail I tell you!:)I have to take her from now on or face the wrath!:)...Silas:)

Great album, Maria! Pups are always a trial but the teething pains pass - eventually! I had to leave my Scottish terrier in SA when I came here and I really miss her even though I know she is well cared for and happy. I look forward to seeing more of your 'bad dog' in future albums! Hugs, Mandy xx

Bad Dog? He is a cutie and I love dogs like him.I had a Border Colie and at the pet store they said is a small size and at 6 months was the size of yours. Chew my basement walls and a hour walk out was just a warm up. I build a house for him name Champion and I put a blanket for him with nails because he removed it and was upset we put him outside the house. I wish I tell you more about my dog but I don't know if you speek or read Romanian. Anyway Bad Dog is a nice dog not bad.

To answer your question, yes, Nick was mine. I raised him from a pup, and Kodie was my fiancé's, and then both were ours, but neither is still with us (sigh). I adopted Collyn the cat almost 7 years ago, and my parents adopted Sunny about a year ago. The rest are animals I have admired. Nick, Kodie, Collyn, and Sunny have their own albums. I will try to look at more of your albums another time, and in the meantime, I look forward to seeing more of your photos in Pro Shots. Thanks, SJA

Thanks, Maria, for taking the time to visit and leave a comment in my Holland Harbor (BIG RED) lighthouse album. I sure do appreciate it! Yesterday I created a new album (WEST MICHIGAN LIGHTHOUSES) with lighthouse images from St Joseph to Pt Betsie including Big Sable/Ludington, Little Sable, and White River. (Plus Muskegon, Grand Haven, and South Haven). I have been working on this album for days, and even did a couple collages that might make great wallpaper for your PC! The sky and clouds during the trip were just beautiful! Some of the photos came out so nicely! I hope you have time to stop by and take a look. ~Randy

Maria, I just discovered your wonderful album - I guess you have already realized I love animals. I have a golden retriever also - named Tanner - He is hyper, (of coarse) and would rather jump in the swimming pool than eat!!! - I think he would play ball 24 hours a day! He also throws his ball in the pool himself and then jumps in to get it when there is no one around to play with!! "Bad Boy" is beautiful (as is his owner)and the pictures are wonderful - I especially love the "Hiding", "Hug for the camera" and "This is who I really am" shots. I only have one picture of Tanner in my album so far but will add more soon - I have been unfair to the dogs and I'm afraid they will think I have shown partiality to the cats. I have 5 cats and 4 dogs - a little overboard, Huh! - All are rescue animals excet 2 of the dogs. My daughter has "kidnapped" 2 of my other dogs (a weimerainer and a dauchshound-sp?) or I would have SIX dogs! - I have Tanner, 2 bassets and a sheltie. I loved the album, Maria. Now I remember, it was about Parakeets. I really don't know, but I THINK they are a different species. I THINK (but I'm not perfectly sure!), that Parakeets can eat seed, but Rainbow Lorikeets cannot, because they have little hooks on the end of the tongue, to enable them to collect nectar from nectar-producing blossoms. Authorities have published info. to tell us that those little hooks will be damaged by seed - so it's a no-go! At places like Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, near Brisbane, Qld., they make up a special mixture for the Lorikeets that have been coming there for a feed for many (bird) generations. They clean and sterilize the containers after each 10 minute feed, because of cross infection from sick birds. The base for this mixture is available to the general population from Vets, and most Pet Shots. Next Winter, when they are cold, wet and hungry, out here at Glenden, because no nectar-producing trees and shrubs are flowering, I intend to get some of this special base, and give them a bit of a feed, if they come looking for it. Aren't the colours striking? Unfortunately, most of their feeding is high up in trees, and almost impossible to capture on camera card, so the occasional visits to our yard are to be treasured. Oh! P.S. - I love your "Bad Dog"!! He's a gorgeous Retriever and looks like he's a lot of fun and loves you very much! They're all "bad dogs" at some point thought, aren't they?? My own little Emmy (a 2 yr. old mini Dachshund) is an excellent little pajama thief, and loves nothing better than stealing my pajama tops and try to use them as chew toys. That's, of course, in addition to barking & growling softly at my cat, Cookie, and my sister's cat, Sylvester, in the hopes that they'll chase her all over the house, making as much of a racket as possible in the process!
