Dear Susan, I am sorry I missed your feature, it is a beautiful album and certainly deserved a feature but you have so many that are beautiful, it was hard to choose which one to visit this time. How do you manage to capture such terrific shots of birds? I think they are a most difficult subject to photograph well but you have mastered it. This is such a super album. I spent three hours yesterday trying to get shots of flying birds to NO avail. How on earth do you do it? My biggest problem was finding them in the view finder and then tracking them. I got lots of blurry things in mid-flight. I don't see any info on your camera here, but would sure like some idea how you do it. Regards, Gloria

This is one of my favorite albums ever...I'm blessed to live on an island...and able to see these comedians wrapped in feather's each and every day...we even had a pet one we named Trapper ( we knew hime because of a large hole is the webbing of his left foot)...he'd land on the deck and peck on our slider for his daily treat of cat crunchies...he returned three years in a row...and sadly last summer he was gone...I can't thank you enough...you've made my day.

You have some wonderful shots here, Susan. Clear, nicely framed, some of them very dramatically captured. You're obviously well in command of the difficulties of shooting against a bright background. WhenI went through this gorgeous album once, then twice, then paused at every picture, the one thing that was constant in my mind was Bach's book 'Jonathan Livingstone Seagull' Needless to say, it is one of my very favourite books; it is truly a treatise on achieving excellence. Your series of pictures here with the seagulls as motifs are also, so to say, a journey towards excellence. And, that, you have achieved. It is so difficult to capture birds in flight; to take so many perfect pictures only goes to show that your talent and skills are equal to the task. This is a great album. Best wishes, Suresh

Hi Lynn, your collection is simply wonderful! My seagull pic in my 3 photos a week is nothing compared to these. I must admit I was not in the best conditions, since I am here mainly to work and I have limited my luggage. I do only have a 17-85 mm lens with me and I missed my telephoto lens (I use a 75-300) that is in Italy. Next trip I will bring it with me. Ciao, Roberto

It is always fascinating watchinng them hove over you and just above the water they are very interesting birds and we have watched them for hours. Great album and thank you for your comments . A wonderful collection of seagulls in flight. Excelent focus and well timed shots as the seagulls are frozen in flight. I feel I have eye contact with the seagulls in many of the images! Your patience over the previous months collecting these photos has proved worthwhile. Bravo! ----------------
