Hello Hanna, My name is Helen and I love your photos of Vladimir. He has the most expressive face and is so animated. His personality reminds of a character in a children's story I am writing. Vladimir is the living image of what I have imagined the character to look like. I was wondering if I might have your permission to pattern my illustrations after Vladimir's photos and use them as inspiration. Vladimir would act as a base model around which I would build my drawings. Of course, you would receive full credit as the inspiring photographer. It would be an honor to have Vladimir be the face of my character. Thank you for considering my request.

Hello again Hanna, I just realized you might not have a way to respond to my request, so I thought I would give you my email address to make it easier. I can be reached directly at hlewis@vt.edu. I am a student currently and have been working on a children's story for several years now, as I attend school. I do not have a publisher or anything, but that is my eventual goal. Again you would receive complete credit for your photography, and I would create links to your webshots and/or webpage as soon as I have an outlet to do so. I would love to have a tribute page to Vladimir in the book, introducing the audience to your amazing cat. Please let me know one way or the other and contact me with any questions you might have.
