    • I thought I was done crying until I read the poem. I didn't have to put Sparkle to sleep, but I hope I would have been able to be the friend to him he was to me.

    • I just read your tribute to Texie. I am finding it difficult to see the letters on my keyboard because of the tears. In 1986 my husband brought home Sparkle. Ron thought he selected Sparkle, but I think God was in charge. There will never be another friend like him. Please visit my web site. There are too many pictures to see, but I recommend Letters to God. I also have tributes to Sparkle, but can't recall which album. I believe it might be Heart Projects. Sheila
