  • Really don't think there is another bird that can compare to the Pelican, it has everything, we have them at the beach near here and they are always resting when I take the camera and flying when I forget it... Hugs, Shirley

  • What a magnificent album. Have you heard this? The amazing thing about a pelican, is that his beak can hold more than his belly can! (Don't actually know if thats true or not!) I sometimes see pelicans gliding on the air currents from our back yard. It is amazing. I call them pterodactyls because they are just huge.

  • Oh wow--I cannot get over all these pelicans! Pelicans are one of my favorite species of bird. I love their grace when they fly, their intelligence, and their (surprising) friendliness towards people. My favorite thing about pelicans though, are their faces. They have the most interesting, if not downright, freaky faces. Thanks so much for a fantastic album!
