Again a nicely done album. Thank you for sharing. I'm sure I will never see Hawaii's birds in person, so I really feel blessed that your albums show me these.

Hello Janine, as always, you have taken beautiful shots of birds, the Plovers look like ours, but the colouring is quite different. As for the Common Myna, they were introduced here and have assumed plague proportions and killed off many of our native birds. Consequently they're considered vermin here. Is that also the case in Hawaii? Thanks for the invitation,; best wishes from Keith in Sydney.

Hi Jan, I am in awe of these pictures you took. You really know how to take the shots to make the birds look their best and I absolutely love this album. Am a nut for birds anyway, so I go through this album with joy. Thanks!! Trudy-Oregon

Hi Jan, What a great album,AGAIN! I loved the Male House Sparrow, and the Japanese Birds at the end. Your photos of birds are some of the best I have seen. Keep snapping and I'll keep looking. Sharon

Hello Jan, A pleasure to be the first to comment on this album of "Hawaiian Birds III". These feathered creatures have to have a built-in sense about you photographing their cultures, they know when you're coming, they know that you'll be using that giant telephoto lens and won't be scared at all. They also know that their mug shots will be on your website and they don't mind at all when all is squared away. I do have to ask though, the picture on your homesite of you and your telephoto, the lens seems rather large without the use of a tripod-you don't usually use one? or was this just a quick shot? A nice album though, very clear and precise shots, descriptions are right on and do appreciate your diligence in uploading this album so the rest of us may educate ourselves. Best regards and take care. Ron/Oregon Coast
