It is so sad to loose a dog and it leaves such an empty space in the heart, but your Nick was a such a lovely dog and I know you have many treasured memories of him in addition to these beautiful photos. Actually, I came here because I read your remark in the Blog about not being able to leave a message under someone's photo. I have chosen to BLOCK all messages under my photos (for the time being anyway) because I would rather have my messages all together in my guestbook instead of being plastered throughout my albums. I do not have time to be loading all my photos to see if anyone has left me any messages. I someone were to put messages under 100 of my photos, would I be expected to send 100 replies? Admittedly, it is very convenient for the Viewer to be able to put a message under a photo, but so far I fail to see any advantage for the Member or owner of the photo. Hope you understand.. Oh, no! And a month later I see I wrote MJ instead of SJ. Ooops! Dyslexia?... :D The point here is that Nick was a very cute dog. The picture "Nick, Just Watching" melts my heart every time I see it... :)

What a sweet friend!Your photos reflect your love for Nick and it was a gift you were able to savor for 17 1/2 years.Love survives, and Nick's spirit exists within you.
