Collyn's a pretty kitty. Hope you don't mind that I teased you a little bit under the so-called "angry" wolves picture. mj

No, not at all. It's pretty funny on re-reading, actually. The timestamp on that entry indicates it was 10:33 p.m. here when I wrote it, after a long work day, so I wasn't at my most coherent. Thanks for the compliment about Collyn. My photos don't do him or Nick justice. My mother isn't overly fond of cats and kept telling me I shouldn't have adopted him. She'd seen my pictures of him, but when she finally met him, she said, "He's beautiful. You can keep him."

Thank you for the comment about my photos. I see you are fond of animals. On my album page You will see an album of my cats.My favourite was Mittens who was a black & white like Kodie but a polydactyl-- He had 7 pads and claws on each paw that looked like snow shoes. Sadly he is gone now.

I love the proprietary air about your cat in "This is my chair!" LOL! I also love the 'literary cat'. I don't have a cat anymore but I remember when mine would lay all over whatever work I was trying to see on the desk! Thanks for your visit to my Explorations album. Gorse is actually a boring prickly bush most of the time! It grows on the moors which is why Long Lankin would have been living in it. When it flowers though, it gives us a lovely splash of colour, and if you brave the thorns to get a close up picture it is beautiful! Funny thing is, I have just read a report about a man who was rescued from a 10ft gorse bush on the edge of a cliff by the RAF after being stuck in it for two days! http://archive.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/2005/8/10/203306.html That's the link if you fancy reading it! Do you think it was Long Lankin come back to life? LOL! Have a good day! :O)

HI! Thanks for nice comments about my Julie album! I constantly am intrigued at her "museum" of a house! I love the photo of your "literary cat". I have 3 (check out my album!) and they are a never ending source of photo ops!!!

Hello! I like Collyn's pictures a lot. He is so handsome and photogenic... :) I love also those pictures of him sleeping with your dog. They look charming. Nice albums you have! Regards, Gabby.

Hi SJ! Many thanks for the special GB messages in both my Cat and my Tribute to Banshee albums. Your support and condolences are more than appreciated. Much as I also love him, I'm afraid to say that Max isn't my own cat. Collyn is rather handsome - and like most cats - shows very obviously, how very much aware he is of his striking features...LOL! Thanking you, once again, for your very kind messages. Hugs and licks from Sue and Misty (and Pumpkin). At the moment we only have the two of them.

Collyn is certainly a cat with attitude! Love the way he sits on his throne and rules the roost! A very handsome cat too and I know he enjoys all the love and attention you give him. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

I love Black & white cats and these are lovely photos. We had a big B & W cat called Mittens for he had 7 pads & 6 claws on each paw. Thanks for pointing me to your lovely albums.

Hi SJ! Collyn has certainly found "the good life" where he can eat, sleep and enjoy a life of luxury! Thanks for sharing your new pics. Thankyou too for viewing my new album and your kind message. We have finally received some welcome rain after a very dry start to the Winter. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hello SJ, thank you for your nice comment in my album of pomegranates. This year we have a wonderful season. I can't remember when we had last such a good year for this lovely fruit. I enjoyed very much to look at Collyn. I love the pictures in the box! It seems to be one of his favorite places. I admire you for taking so beautiful pictures of your cat. I often tried to photograph cats but most of the time I didn't have any results, lots of pictures with 'half a cat' or even without any cat at all. Once I caught a quite nice picture with a tail of a cat in the center of the picture. :)

Love this kitty! Looks like one of mine, same assumptive air of ownership and same coloring. Mine's called Bottlebrush (because of his tail). Wonderful photos. Rachel

What a handsome fellow. Those whiskers are wonderful. My three never cease to amuse me with their antics. Like Collyn they love boxes, bags, and are constantly fascinated with my plants which now have to hang from the ceiling in order to not be de-leafed..LOL Great shots! Mouse in Canada

Hello SJ, Collyn is a beautiful cat, your shots are so lovely! I can see that Collyn is a curious cat, he doesn’t want to miss any thing, like my cat Ramses! I’m glad you enjoyed the album Cattery Kata-Nebari, it are the cats from my sister, she is a breeder of Maine Coon cats, and yes you are right Collyn is a look a like of Sjinjii. Wish you a warm December and Merry Christmas, warm wishes from Holland, Joke

I just now read your message that Collyn hasn't been well. How's he doing? I hope the medication is helping. Char

I'm so glad to see some new photos of Collyn. That must mean he's responding well to his medication and is up and about. We had to have my 19 year old, Levi, put to sleep on October 31, 2007. I miss him terribly. Although I have no regrets about the life he led. He was healthy and happy throughout his life, right up to the end. Actually, he had no health problems even at the end. His poor little body just gave out from old age, and yet he still wouldn't let go. The last two weeks of his life I kept hoping he would peacefully go to sleep, but he wouldn't give in. I'm thankful he had a good long run and never had to suffer. You hang in there, too, Collyn. From the looks of your recent photos you seem content, happy, and I'm sure you're very well cared for. :-)
