Hi Luc! I wanted to thank you for the very sweet message you wrote in the blog this morning regarding Bob and me being Featured Members this weekend. I was surprised to find that honor when I got up this morning. I just appreciate you and your albums so much. You have been a real friend for many years now. I love this album more each time I view it--tonight I was admiring Lady Gourda de Victoria because it's such a great shot by you and also I love that bird. At the St. Louis Zoo these birds are in the Bird House and the lighting is very low, plus one has to photograph through wires, so it's next to impossible to capture these beauties. I also enjoyed Lost in Thought; that beautiful red bird. Is it an Ibis? I don't even know if I spelled that correctly. :-) Hope you have a relaxing weekend. Bonjour Luc, Cet album est vraiment fantastique, il n'est pas facile de photographier des oiseaux et des animaux et de reussir a les faire ressortir autant, toi tu as reussi. J'en ai fait l'essai hier au zoo de quebec, avec mon petit appareil et j'admire le travail que tu as fait. Tes photos sont presque plus belles que nature =) Je ne sais pas si vous en avez entendu parler a Montreal,ici a Quebec le ministre responsable de la Capitale Nationale (Michel Despres) a decide de fermer le zoo de Quebec, qui est le plus vieux en Amerique du Nord (75 ans) C'est suppose etre effectif a compter du 3 fevrier 06. Il y a beaucoup de contestation et de mouvements presentement dans ce dossier et on espere que le ministre reviendra sur sa decision... Merci de tes commentaires et bravo pour ton album. Je reviendrai faire d'autres visites a tes albums car je prefere voir les albums des "amis webshots" un a un pour mieux les apprecier... Marielle

You are a magnificent ambassador for the species. I commend you on your sensitivity. That nature would allow you to capture such vividry is something rare. Others merely photograph. You my friend are magic and it shows, you've captured their essence. Congratulations. Bengyl(These lovely creatures have been blessed with such a propagator of the species.) My dad had 2 macaws when I was growing up, we used to talk to each other. =^.^= In August of this past year, 4 sandhill cranes walked up my driveway. I live over a veterinary hospital-they just sauntered up the drive, moving as one unit. They were close to 5 ft. tall. What an experience! It was the week actually a day before the hurricanes hit down south, they must have known and diverted from their usual migratory passage.

Hi Luc, great photos of my biological specialty--birds. Coco is a really nice one. But all are well done. And your titles are well thought out. That is something I dont do well-title my photos. One thing Ive noticed in photo competitions and exhibits is that very often the winning photos are not usually the best photographs, but they instead have really catchy titles. Your work here has both-good photography and great titles. Also thanks for your very generous comments on my recent album. Mike

Just so beautiful. Luc, you have captured these favorits of mine very nicely, like the afternoon meeting,Dico Touraco and the What the...? Like your titles a lot. Hi Luc. I enjoyed looking at this album mate. You have captured some great shots. The ones that aren't obviousley in the avery are extra special. The red Ibus is amazing and the spoonbills always get me in. Number 31 has to be the ugliest bird on the planet. I think God did not want him to be liked. lol.
