Beautiful pictures!! I used to raise Dobermans, until my Greta sadly passed away unexpectedly. She was only 3 1/2 years old. I kept 2 of her pups. I also have an older dog, Baron, my best friend!! Love the pictures, thanks for sharing them!

Your album is absolutely gorgeous! I have a 7-year old black/tan female named Angel (Magnificent Raven Angel-Baby) who is my guardian and the light of my life, along with her companion dog Midge, a tiny Italian Greyhound I rescued from an abused situation 2&1/2 years ago. They are so precious together...Angel is 95 pounds...Midge is 15 pounds. They are inseparable. I also had another female Doberman, Red/Rust, named Demon, that I had for eleven years...and I lost her to cardiomyopathy. I see one of your readers had that experience as well. It was the saddest time of my life. Then one year later, on the day she died, Angel was born....hence her name..."Angel& quot;. Interesting, huh? I love them with all my heart.....as I do all animals. Wonderful Album, I have it on my desktop at home and at work. It really gets noticed at work. People love to come in my office and watch your beutiful Dobermen on my screen saver. Thank you so much for sharing these photos. Thank you for these beautiful photos, your Dobermans are excellent. We are griefing the loss of our 11 year old dobie, Tristan, who suffered from spinal cord lesions and paralysis. It is wonderful to know that others have breath-taking dobies and appriciate their loyalty and warm personalities. In a few more months, there will be another dobie in our house. Our 3 yr old doberman, Cinderella, loved looking at Duke which we had as wallpaper on our computer. She would stare for hours on end at it. We are so sorry for your loss. We lost our 1st Dobe after 13 years 3 yrs ago and know how special they are.

Thanks all of you for your kind comments, I see I am not the only one who is missing thier companion, I hope these pictures bring all of you that have lost a loving pet some great viewing moments, I know they have for me, as I remember my DUKE at my feet sleeping as I worked on the PC. He was never jealous and he was never ignored, I miss him :( still. His memory is kept well by your comments and are always more than welcome !! Josie and I could never do without another DOBIE so we added DANTE'S ONYX RAZOR to our family, He's now 4 months old and is very special to us, We all know that DUKE can never be replaced yet we all need to move on after such a sudden loss. RAZOR is already growing like a weed and has so many of the fine traits that DUKE possessed. RAZOR is an oversized Black & Tan male from KIMBERTAL KENNELS in PA. and his pedigree is filled with fine champion stock, and his temprament is that of the fine breed that DOBERMANS are known for. Please come back often as we will feature RAZOR as he matures, and to all of you that have suffered losses, my sincere hopes that all of you are well and still have your pets in you hearts :) , and to everyone that is enjoying thier pets company, NEVER forget how special this time is, as it is always far too short !!. My husband & I both had to give away our dobermans (separately - before we met) mine (actually my brother's) was a black & tan "runt" named Shadow, his, also a b&t, bruiser named Brutus - his favorite quote has always been - "I should have kept the dog" - We both feel your loss. I loved all the pictures. I just lost my precious Doberman Spike 10-1/2 yrs old. He was so loved & is so missed. Everyone loved him, he always got everyone to pet him by nuzzling them with his nose. My vet misses him also-he said he was one of a kind & so beautiful & such a gentle dog.

Beautiful Shots! We also have a black / tan Dobie, April. She's 11 and starting to show her age some, but still an active and happy baby. We also have a Lab and a Golden, and poor April is discriminated against so badly because she's a "Doberman&qu ot;, and she's the one who wants to be petted the most. Please check out her pictures (and Roxie and Aspen) in the "All My 4 Legged Children" album(s). April has a tendency to walk straight into the camera to get loved on, so I can't get as many shots of her, but there are several goods ones out there. She does have this thing about retrieving though - I think, she thinks she's a retriever! Its so nice to read comments from folks who realize Dobies are people pets! Also, we lost Timber to cancer in June 2000. We can now talk of her without crying, but will miss her until we meet her again.

I'm very sorry about your loss. Duke will always be with you. Your pictures are beautiful. I have a black and rust Dobe named Max. I love him so very much. We have our bad times to. He is only 6 months old and the bitting is terrible. I can't wait till he stops. When he isn't mouthing or jumping, he is cuddling next to me, stuck like glue!!! Awesome pictures. I've had Dobermans all my life. My last two were a fawn and a blue. After they died I bought two Miniature Pinschers. Not quite as big but they have all the attitude a Doberman has. Come check out my fawn and blue, also, check out my "Animals in Heaven" picture I made in the "Alpha and Omega" album. through all our married years we were not blessed to have children. although we love each other madly something was missing. so we started to get pets yes you guessed correctly it was dobermans. never did we experience any dull moments anymore. today after 25 years of living with dobermans they did become our children and it really is a terrible day in our home if we lose one. we now have 8 of these joys roaming free in our yard and home. keep on loving them they will never let you down.

Our dobie was Brandy--beautiful, loving, so intelligent; my fiance died suddenly; Brandy (only 3 years old) simply lay down and died a few weeks later--the vet said grief was the only explanation. Your dobies are beautiful!! My huband and I have owned had one sometimes three at once ever since we have been married. Our current, Raci Autumn, turned 9 yrs. old 03/21/03. She has a best friend, Ross the Weiner Dog 3 yrs on 03/24/03. They have the best time together. Don't know what we would do without them.

I love your pics of the dobs. The one red one basking looked just like my first one. I have had two male red ones and they are the best dogs I have ever had. The both died early form gentic causes(ie cardio myopathy) I loved them so much,but my husdand said he couldn't take the death of another dobe,so we didn' get another one,but I miss them! I had a doby, my BEST FRIEND EVER, EXACTLY like Duke. His name was Jake, and he went to Heaven on 1/16/03, at 10 years of age. He even had the same flopped ear as Duke and was about the same size, judging from this picture. He was 98 pounds. SO GLAD to see your picture. Thanks for MORE memories. Emily

I just wanted to say that I am truly happy that someone had some good, and I mean really good, pictures of the doberman breed. I am the PROUD owner of a truly loyal family partner named queen sasha and a true queen she is. I wouldn't trade her for the world. This is my second doberman and I wouldn't consider having any other breed. Thank you for your contribution to the breed. The pictures are great!!!!! Hi first let me say My condolences to Duke I'm sure Duke will be miss. Have my first doberman we got her about 5years ago But when we got her I did not want a Dog No doberman No dog at all Eric kind of surpire me with her I was so mad at him I went and got me some boxes going to move out that's how Mad I was so Eric said let's keep her for a week if you still feel the same then I'll take her back. Fell in LOVE told Eric he can go But SHEBA is staying with Me :) :) and right now to this day her teas me every chance he gets. I also Love looking at your picture Thank You for sharing

I'm a Dobie lover and proud owner; I lost a special one after 13 years, & I'll never stop missing him. Our "new" one is now 8 and the jewel of my eye. These pics are great, and we have to remember that we are the blessed one to have had such special animals.
