They way they've got this Webshots format set up it takes a mastermind to figure out how to make entries in a guest book. I see you've added to your album since I first looked at it quite some time ago. I just haven't added much because we haven't done anything different lately. I'm sure you have great times with your Shelties as most sheltie owners seem to. I sure wouldn't give mine up for anything - including asthma! You asked how to get the "FX" effect - The swirls and squiggles are from importing a picture into Adobe 1.0 or 1.1 or 2.0. These used to be freebies with certain ink jet printers, but I haven't seen them lately. Adobe makes some pretty sophisticated pro programs (6.0 to 8.0), way out of my price range. The key with Adobe is once you've altered the picture & are ready to save it, get it out of Adobe's "PDF" and back into "JPEG" format before you save to disk. Then I use Professor Franklin sometimes for special effects like hazy edges and some frame work. Sometimes I just use MS's Picture It 99 but I end up there to save in Picture It 99's JPEG format because it takes up the least amount on disk space. I'm glad you rescued some nice dogs. I rescued my pair from an enbattled divorcing couple. The female, Amy, is a darker version of your Poppy & my heart throb & thinks she owns me. (She does.) The male is a handsome mahogany-sable with a little less white than Blake. And he's my wife's running mate. They are a handfull but then there's that perfect Sheltie smile just for you that melts your heart. Shelties do rule!

I saw a note written to another user so I decided to check you out. I love Blake and Poppy. And Cowboy thinks he's a Sheltie! Parrots are hysterical. My parrots(macaw, african grey and yellow nape amazon) think they are Pugs and are always barking! Stars aliving; you have mail from the Czech Republic. Well, I finally figured out how to get back into my own photo album--I had forgotten to login--unforgiveable for a computer instructor--but that's life. My wife loves Opie like her child which he is, of course. We are in our 50's. I have children by previous marriage. Opie is our protector for real. Post, Texas is at the base of the Texas Panhandle. Your Shelties are beautiful. I have an aunt in West Texas who lost one to old age and poor health. She had it cremated and keeps it at home with her. We have added Dallas - Shih Tzu. Belongs to wife's sister--a Texan in Missouri. Shih Tzus look like minature Lhasas to me--Lhasa from Tibet and Shih from China I think. If you haven't seen Seven Years in Tibet, do so and watch for the Lhasa in one of the scenes. Well until a later date. Que tenga un año prospero y perros sanos. Adios

Beau is actually an American dog, we got him from a breeder in Havana Kansas a year and a half ago, he lives with us in Toronto Ontario now though, he'll be 2 years old on April 17th, 2000. Thanks for the compliments. I'm the O.M. (Old Man) who is putting the pics on Webshots for my Y.L. (Young Lady). The agility pics were taken by a friend with high speed film and the others the wife took with a Polaroid. Misty was our first Sheltie. We just love to put the coats on for fun. It is cold here at times minus 40 celcius. Lady has some sheltie in her and german sheppard. Nova is an Akita 100% from Japan. Nova has thick fur and needs no coat. Your sheltie is very nice, I love dogs of all types and especially like the large ones. We live in Alberta Canada. Thanks for the note. Take care.

Thanks for the message about my Rat Terrier, Jazzy. The breed got their name from their ability to hunt and kill rodents. They are a really smart, loving and really energetic breed. Your shelties look really adorable too though!
