• Hello Gladys, again nearly 2 weeks run away since I got your wonderful message. You are right about the messages today! I think WS is getting less personal. They are growing so fast, maybe too fast. Hopefully with the new site the speed will be back. Everything takes too much time I get tired and sometimes I am just about to fall asleep over waiting! :-) I like about the photo messages that you can move the photos without losing the relation to its messages. When I add photos they become a new number and the guestbook entries relate to an other picture instead. Maybe I should stop moving them! :-) I noticed some confusion of the seasons too. Yesterday I saw a Jacaranda tree in full bloom, he is just 3 month too late! Some other trees did not bloom at all. Today early in the morning, as I went out to try out my new camera, it looked just if it will begin to rain and I am quite disappointed by the results the camera gave me. A lot to learn! So I came to have a look at Clancy the nicest dog of all. I can't believe he waited in the bath till you photographed him. Maybe the age and for sure your influence are making him calmer. How nice he looks after the bath at his birthday! My late congratulations! I love the 'Window View (#61) and Molly's portrait(#64), the birthday portrait (#65) is lovely and so is the next picture. #76 is such a wonderful picture of friendship and in # 77 he looks so fresh and fluffy as if he never ever gets dirty! Take care, my dear Gladys! - Galit

 • Hi Gladys, I am so glad that you invited me to see Clancy and Molly again. I have thoroughly enjoyed your delightful pics of them and their little lives. Happy birthday to Clancy. He is a bit older than Jasper who will turn 7 in March. I love all the different expressions you have captured, especially Molly with the golf ball. I believe we see that same look around here when Jas has a toy by him. Heh heh. Clancy is so attractive and of course he has the alert brown poodle eyes. I particularly liked the one where he was looking at you. The raincoat is so cute. He does not seem to mind wearing it. Of course watching through the window is a wonderful doggie activity but Clancy and Molly have a better perch than Jas who does not have the luxury of a sheepskin to rest upon. Your pics are just great and I wish I could take ones half as good. Thanks for sharing them and also thanks for the comments on the Mildura botanic gardens album. We did not have time to see the whole gardens. Another place we were rushed for time was the RAAF museum out at the airport. I found it very interesting to chat to the volunteers there who had been in the airforce in WW2 themselves. I will post the pics from there shortly if such a topic is of interest to you. Regards, Joyce

 • Hi Gladys, These are very nice additions. I particularly like your “Dry and Fluffy”, “Window View”, and “63 Clancy, 7 yrs” because of their unusual perspective and the darkened background which very well suits Clancy’s white coat. Did you throw and party for him and his friends to celebrate his birthday. I hope you both enjoyed his day and he is doing better and hasn’t had any recurrence of the seizures. Best wishes, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your kind words on my Virtual Zoo and Large cats album. Unfortunately the Leopards and Tigers from the Amur region of Asia are under very hard pressure to survive. I agree with your choice of the Green Poison Dart Frog. It gave me a couple of shots at it, but this was by far the best. I’m not sure which of these is the most poisonous, but they all seem to acquire their poison (which the natives of Amazonia use to poison their hunting darts – thus their names) from their food in the wild and lose it over time in captivity. Their colors, however, is clearly a warning to any predator looking for an easy meal.

Thanks for the comment about the Heysen Trail pics and for correcting me about the gum flowers. How silly could I be? Blush. Of course it was not wattle! And I discovered a new guy, Rex, is he one of yours also? He is cute and so beautiful! I very much like the collages you made of the dogs. Nice editing of the other pictures too, gives them something special. I thoroughly enjoyed this album too. Give them all a big hug of me. Thanks for writing in the GB’s of Raindrop Fascination and Various Nature & Scenery Pictures. I very much appreciate your opinion. Kind regards, Els (wely246/evanwely)

 • Hi Gladys, sorry for keeping you waiting. My last message to you was the last for about two weeks. Just after sending the message to you the writing on the screen turned to be like with a shadow, then turned into orderly stripes which melted. A message appeared telling me that my PC was dumping memory and after it there was only a black screen. My first thought was about viruses and all my pictures, especially those of Yoav which I didn't back up! 3 days later I got my PC back with a new Power pack! :-)No picture was lost, but partly I had to build up the system again and the net and some other features. It took me a while till I could get on the net and it took me some more time till I finished to - finally - back up all my pictures. When I got back on the net it was like being featured: LOTS of messages, including your lovely ones! :-) Sometimes I think those messages are like a 'over draft' at the bank. Everyone has his personal one that he can't get under. I seem to have always a message-answering-delay of about two weeks! I am happy my Ranunculus brought you some color in your day! :-) My daughter brought them to me after visiting an abandoned field of those. The Macro album begins with some bougainvilleas I got from my daughter too. I had told her about those YOU mentioned once, those two colored ones. She found them first and brought me a small branch. Actually I photographed them for you. :-) Thanks for your kind words for Yoav. You are right: he is already famous! The respond of the Webshot community was overwhelming. :-) I see your winter brought you a wonderful weather. Now I am the one complaining about the heat. Gladys, I hope you are fine! Have a wonderful day! :-) Galit

 • Hello Gladys. Love the additions to this album they are great. Charlie is not usually scared of the thunder and lightning, and fire works don’t bother him, he’s a bit like Clancy I think one flash of lightning and the accompanying thunder was just to close for him. Thanks for your comments in my squirrels and small birds album. If you take a look at my Washlands and River Wildlife album you will see I have added a couple of kingfisher photos. These birds are the most colourful of British birds but they are extremely hard photograph, normally all you see is a blue flash. Any way the photos are not the best quality as I had a contrast problem due to distance so I will have to go back and try again which I don’t mind, as it was great sitting by the river bank at seven in the morning on a bright summers day watching them fish. For now best wishes Paul.

 • Hi Gladys. I think every dog you have in here is a winner. Clancy looks like he just came out of the washing machine, because of his nice whirlppool whiteness. lol. Molly has a twinkle in her eye. I love I Isaac because he has that sad look in his eyes. Poor old Sophie must be 100 the lovely old dear. German Shepherds are always gorgeous. I like the album very much. I guess being a dog lover always helps. Catch you later my friend. Hugs mate Al... PS. Have you got your broadband up and running and how do you like it?

 • Hello Gladys this is a great collection of photos of your canine friends and the collages are great. Love rex as he is my kind of dog I have had four of his breed, but Margaret is a bit afraid of them and her favourite is a yellow lab which I had when we first got together along with an Alsatian unfortunately both now departed but not forgotten. Any way we would not change Charlie, (see Action Dog album) although he gave us a big scare the other night as he disappeared during a violent thunderstorm. Many of the neighbours turned out to look for him and eventually he was found hiding in a corner from the lightning, this was after clearing an eight-foot wall. Thanks for the comments in my Trent and Mersey canal album. This along with the subjects off the majority of my 55 albums is within a mile or two radius of our house as we live on the edge of the washlands, great as it means that I can dodge the rain drops by dashing back to the house or visa –versa when the sun shines as we are having one of our typical English Summers. What the hell I still manage to for fill my passion for digital photography. For now take care and best wishes Paul

 • I love the collages of Clancy, Molly, and Rex. How do you get them to be so still? I guess dogs are easier to take a picture of than grandchildren, as mine change positions in a flash! In looking over your fine album, I wondered if Isaac would get a collage. Thank you for your visit today. You are my most frequent visitor and you always leave a kind comment. Your friend in Utah, Keith

By the way, thanks for your very warm comments on my Arches album. We had a great time and I'm beginning to feel my legs again - num from all the hiking and climbing. • Hi Gladys!!..Finally a chance to look at your beautiful D for Dogs, and Clancy as usual has stolen the 'limelight' with your beautiful collage aftwork, and sorry Clancy, your stunning looks!! You better tell her I think she looks gorgeous!!Molly Rex & Issac have such lovely names. Funny how dogs names don't suit cats...lol!! I totally agree that animals are not ones life, but they sure put some spark and fun into the day as do my sons family of kittens etc.!! 1 week...stay??> has been a 3 1/2 mth holiday for them. Animals are soo easy to love and whether they are ours or somebody elses, they all have their own personna.....and each brings their own delight as you have captured and shared in this lovely album Gladys. My progress is getting there with tks, and my time is still locked, but each day I view and tk some more as I thank you again for your ever support and kindness during my time here on Webshots. I have still to climb the Helliconia ladder of tks yet but I shall get there! It may be slower, but I so want to be sincere. There shall come a day soon....when my journey turns in a new direction and I am soo looking forward to this time in my life and it shall be wonderful and exciting. Peter keeps reminding me, and I shall be thrilled to tell him when the day arrives. Are not we all blessed with life!! You give Clancy a big hug for me, as I met her in her Xmas gala which was a delight. All are beautiful and tks heaps for sharing. Have a really great day..Gladys and tks for the delight....Kindest regards..and hugs to all the beautiful dogs....Em

 • Hi Gladys, Clancy is adorable and all the others too! :-) They are friends, you said! So they are NOT all yours? Great pictures, Everyone shows somehow the very own personality of that dog. The picture of Sophie is my favorite! What a shot! - What a dog! As well touched me Molly - the star! Oh, she sure looks like a star and sure she has a bursting temperament! Isa'ac seems much, much slower not only because of the age. Rex so young and playful. Lovely the picture with the XXXL ears! Who is left? Clancy! He is a prince and seems to know that. The Nose-picture is great! You invested a lot of editing in all those pictures! :-) And invested a lot of energy to keep them all to tidy, especially Clancy! Gladys, thanks for your lovely compliments about my blue album. About the blue wandering Jew: They bloom only early in the morning and only in the shadow. I always thought they do not HAVE flowers, since one day I saw them at a hidden place on my way to work. Thanks for trying to find some Eucalyptus for me. I already found some very beautiful species in your sites. :-) Have a great day! Galit

 • Hiya,Gladys! What an amazing tribute to Dogs!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that this will be a Feature soon. Hey! You have a French Poodle like me!!!!! Mine is named,Roarke & they are VERY intelligent with a lot of emotions-like people! His father was all white but his Mom was apricot-hence he is now blonde with a red tinge. Molly looks like she is a wire-haired Terrier. Rex is so adorable(the Shepard?) at 4 months with his ears so huge at that time!LOL! The whole album is just the best that I have seen as a tribute to our Dogs that give us so much joy in return for so little-a few pets & a bit of food! SUPERIOR album for super Dogs!!!!! You worked hard on this presentation & I 'THANKYOU' for that! I Love ALL animals & you did finite justice to one of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! Loves to ya,Rita
