Kittens Playing In The Sunlight

Hey Em, these photos are simply gorgeous! I am not normally a cat lover but both Betty and myself spent an age looking at these in a SLOWWW slide show. I wanted to pick out a favourite but it was just about impossible. Your captions, too, were both humourous and descriptive and the whole album has been a joy to see. Great stuff mate. Incidentally you still haven't told me what your car is - from your description it sound a modern version of Chittibangbang!! LOL Cya kid, Peter

Hi Em and very many thanks for your encouraging words in my Chittering Valley album. But really, in conditions like that and in countryside like that, who CAN'T take decent photos? Now tell me what you think of the album I added today - different conditions and scenery altogether!! Glad the new car is behaving itself and that you have started to get out and about a bit more again - I bet that camera is super active! Tell me, do you paint from a photo, from being at an actual scene, or from your imagination? And I agree with all you say, especially about the Bellinger River because to me that is the most beautiful river in all of Australia and I would just love to be let loose around there with my camera once again. You should know, that Myrtle tree stands next door to my dentist's house. The tree blooms for a week. I go there twice a year. It is amazing how everything came together! Yes, and the dentist was late!! I came late to work after it, but with lots of pictures! Those kittens are all gone! Someone took care of it. I am happy that your beautiful kittens found caring people, I mean places where they are loved! How sweet your little white kitties....bet they are keeping you busy. Loved your little story too. We had a all white cat, she lived almost 17(human)years with us. Hi Em, These pictures are soooo cute!!! What fun it must be to have these little babies to play with! Although, as I learned a few weeks ago, three kittens are also a LOT OF WORK! We visited with a friend and her 3 kittens for just a couple of hours & I exhausted myself trying to get a picture! Only after they had filled their little bellies and/or been put into their carrying cage was I able to focus in on them! Otherwise it was go, go, go...all the time! I've thoroughly enjoyed all of these pictures, but I think the first one is my favorite! Thanks so much for sharing!! Take care, Lynn

Hello my beauty, how you doing? Boy, are we getting some rain over here - 260mm in first 3 weeks of the month aint bad by any reckoning and that's one of the reasons the brook was running so well in that National Parks of WA album (and many thanks for your very kind words re that too) Some of the scenes there would make great subjects for your brushes and I must confess I had you in mind with one or two of those shots. Just a quickie Em to thank you for yours just received. My ears pricked up at the mention of Kyogle as we once had work there for three days running at the local kindy school. Ok Em! COmpletely smitten with your kittens! Each photo viewed there was a continual Aaaawwwhhh coming from my mouth! So sweet and fluffy white with gorgeous blue pools of curiosity! My all white cat ( part siamese) with one blue eye and the other is green named Spuds has been with me for 18 years and still going pretty strong slightly psychotic but very much loved! I think all cats are photogenic and know what the camera does and so says ok time for me to show off! I love taking photos of cats! Hi Lunda...I can't reply to your message below so am leaving it up here and hope that you find it. The kittens have some Persian in them and pity you didn't live closer as there is still one kitten here. They are my sons cats...and catsitting until he gets new residence. They are beautiful natured...and he still hasn't found a home for the last one. A friend of mine took the other 2 and she is absolutely delighted. I hope this little fellow gets a new home to give a lot of people delight. What beautiful kittens and mum! I was lucky enough to become Mom to a pair exactly like these 19 years ago! Our male was HUGE and beautiful and he p####ed away last summer at 18 years. The female is petite and beautiful also, and if all continues to go well, she'll be 20 next July. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos - they made my day!!!

Hello Em; I just have to tell you how much I enjoyed the pictures of Freya and the babies. They are so adorable. I have a very special place in my heart for white kittens and cats. I had a very beautiful darling named Misty. She was born on my carport in 1991. Unfortunately she p####ed away very suddenly from kidney failure in 1998. I still miss her but she is still with me in my memories and sometimes I see her in some of the beautiful pictures here on Webshots. Hi Em, thanks for finding the time to answer me. Now you have a lot of work to do, but nothing can be too much for the lovely kittens! They really are the best! They must hold the absolute view-record. Keep going! Importand is only that you finish with all your mail till the next feature! :-) :-) I really like that your first thought of my apple was to paint them. You are an artist in every thought! I worked really hard on those, put them on a golden plate with a touch of light. I played a lot around with honey, but the honey didn't want to flow and then run away too quickly. In the end the honey was EVERYWHERE! But nothing is too much for a nice picture for the holiday greetings.- Thanks for cuddling Yoav. He sure is the most cuddled baby on the web!
