"RAINY WINTER DAYS IN 2006" Love the story of Fred & Ethel, I too have had my dilemmas with ducks, geese & the like. They don't like to have their picture taken, very private. Congratulations Laura! Glad to see someone deserving was featured. Sorry WS removed them, any answer as to why yet? All these problems with WS is discouraging, the ones who truly deserve recognition, don't get chosen. The same ones over & over, sometimes. WS seem to be making changes, but too little too late, huh? Hello Dear Laura! Firstly, I feel regret that your featured album was taken away in the archieve. Perhaps I can tell you a little more ... as an older member of WS (almost 2 years for me), we had experienced a lot of disactisfaction with WS. Truly saying, for some members, like me, we can barely accept the unfairness of WS and keep staying as members, simply because we can't leave our close WS friends behind. For some other members, like some of my previous WS friends, they can't accept the unfairness and will simply quit! We all have bad experience with WS and have send many complaint and protest emails before. They simply ignore or giving totally unsatisfory replies. For me, I don't really feel excited in the unfair game of featured album. WS never tells the public how the albums are selected, and I'm in doubt about their professional quality! I and a few of my WS friends have also experienced sudden disappearing of our album without warning. But Dear Laura, at the end of the day, we all love our WS friends, we all share our best we can offer, and we all will stay together. Dear Laura, I have seen many outstanding albums on Webshots but I never came along a story in thee albums like this. Your photos are beautiful and your comments are so cute. Hi Laura - I too love and am in awe of the relationship of the goose family. Humans have a lot to learn from them. I live by some ponds that geese nest in and raise their young and I take some photos but don't have a lense like you do to really capture the beauty of the Creator in the "goose family". Hi Laura! I've been admiring album #1 and this gorgeous album. What a special gift for all the Webshots family. If it's not taken, I'd love #58 Almost Grown. This was such a darling Canadian Goose family. Thanks for the message in my zoo album. The animals at the zoos do love to be talked to and I must admit that I love to talk to them. Many times people have looked at me like I should be in the yards with the animals and I agree with them. There usually is a large crowd at the St. Louis Zoo, but since Bob and I have more time than the school field trips have, we can be patient. We probably visit the St. Louis Zoo more than we visit Missouri Botanical Gardens and come home with many smiles on our faces from the antics of the animals. Thanks again for being so sweet.
