  • Just wanted to stop by and say that I love your album. My Arab is a great jumper as well. If you'd like to use any of his photos, let me know. Here are my 2 favs. (I look awful, sorry for the bad eq, but it was his second time jumping and I wanted to NOT interfere in any way with him) http://a936.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/87/l_bdcfd0e89d7b3463506b3fa6dcfa10f7.jpg http://a310.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/112/l_aa41ea7a5550ab2431f0be9ce3d82e6d.jpg

  • Hi! I registered there, only for join this discussion. My main interest are jumping arabians. In our stud we have chestnut arabian mare which is 145 cm high and she jumps over 120 cm! Few months ago I bought arabian gelding and my trainer said that he is really talented in jumping. He suspects my horse will jump over 110 cm but he don't know how about 120. He is very young (4 years) so now our record is about 80 - 90 cm. But he has good technique and I think he will win a lot of competitions;) My biggest dream is to compete in European Championships For Sports Arabians. I suspect You would like to see films and photos of "my" jumping arabians;) Niniwa - this chesnut mare: http://www.st-roch.arabians.pl/niniwa.avi Gallery of Niniwa: http://www.st-roch.arabians.pl/galerie/niniwa/index.htm Gallery of my horse: http://photobucket.com/albums/a201/aliceblogpl/Chonsu/ In our country (Poland)arabian sports are not popular. When I bought Chonsu everybody said that it was a mistake and I will do nothing with such a horse. But he is doing better, and better... . I'm very glad he see other jumping arabian's lovers:) If You want msg me at faber.oo@wp.pl .

  • It's nice to see others who believe in the Arabian Jumper. My horse has been competing in the Open & ATR classes in Southern California. To date he holds 8 Division Jumper Championships from the Open Circuit and 8 Jumper Championships from the AHA circuit. He's coming up on a milestone of 1000 all breed horses defeated in open competition in 24 months. He's 19 years old, his name is Russian Roulett. We are proud of his record and have shown to all that the Arabian is more than capable of competing in open show jumping ... ps, he's only 14.2 hands and jumps the 1.10 to 1.15 meter fences. I know there are more of you great jumpers out there, I hope you will bring your horses to the open circuits in your area. :-)

  • I think you are right that arabians are useful not just for "looking pretty"

  • http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v79/I_love_Bambi/DSC00488.jpg that is my arab, Neibla, jumping a four footer. We go as high as 5 foot at home, but can't do a single dressage movement to save her life (she thinks its boring and starts crabbing down the centre line) so I can't event her. I would if I could. Look: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v79/I_love_Bambi/DSC00488.jpg

  • I loved your album! It is nice to know there are people out there that really know the Arabian's true potential! I currently own and compete in Open Hunter/Jumper classes on my purebred Arabian mare. I highly suggest looking up EA Cygnus+/ and Russian Roulett. Roulett competes against top Warmbloods in Open Jumping classes and Cygnus is a Grand Prix level dressage horse. Also, http://www.daydreamarabians.com/ are currently training a couple of Arabian Hunter/Jumpers.
