Hello Ted! This collection of birds is simply superb. I love the sunlight in the wing's feathers - gorgeous and never seen before. CONGRATULATIONS! Mike (Zurich, Switzerland). P.S.: I'd like to thank you soooo much for your attention and your many kind comments about my different albums: you went carefully through so many of them and really took the time to appreciate each and every single picture - this means a lot to me and I honestly feel honored about this. Your words are very much appreciated, as they come from somebody who knows what he's talking about. THANK YOU very much!

Spectacular shots...to die for! I am humbled after seeing your album and amazed that you find my featured album worthy of your accolades. Would love to know the camera and equipment you use to superbly capture our feathered friends in flight. Do you go to a nature preserve? The art of photographing birds in flight still eludes me. Thank you again for your kind words and I would certainly appreciate any advice you care to share. Admiringly...Jan in North Carolina JotterJan@aol.com

Hi Ted, This has to be one of my favorite albums anywhere. It is not only because of the beauty on these egrets and Roseate Spoonbills in flight, but because I know how truly difficult these great shots are. You make it look deceptively easy. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your very generous words on my Lowry Zoo album.

Hi Ted, This album is awesome! A ballet in the air. Thank you. Thanks for your beautiful words in my guestbook. Yes I think you have the spirit too. You will rebuild too just like we. We have our work cut out for a wile but no hurricane will brake us if we don't let it happen. It's up to us. We will do it. On the Golf Coast and in the Caribbean! Hugs Heidi

Hi Ted, This is a very inspirational album and very well done! The spoonbills are such an interesting bird and to have them in flight must be pretty exciting. I think you live in Louisiana.. if you do I hope you and your family made it through Katrina. Take care my friend! Eti

Hi Ted! This album reminded me of the documentary film "Travelling Birds". I agree with Paul below, it is an awesome album and you have done an amazing job capturing these birds in flight! I have enough problems trying to capture the fish that swim out of the picture! Many thanks for your kind words in my Marine Life album, your encouragement is appreciated. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Ted, absolutely awesome album! I know how difficult it is to capture a bird in flight, up-close and well framed and you have done an outstanding job of it. I have a couple that someday may expand into an album, but it will probably take me about 10 years. I'm lucky if I can see four or five Roseate Spoonbills within a whole winter season, but never in flight within shooting distance. Congratulations! And thanks for your very kind words yesterday on my Utah album. Greetings from Florida, Paul.

I loved, loved, loved this album, but can you tell me other than the spoonbills, and the ibis', were the others (with the exception of the one pic of the great blue heron) are herons or egrets, and is the small dark one a commorant (sp)? I like to name the pics as I save them, and it's hard to tell when they're in flight pose...if you know can you email me at hilltopaction@yahoo.com
