  • A fantastic album! Really impressed with the series of the Red-tailed Hawk. Your timing is wonderful. The picture of the Great Blue Heron leaving a "vapor trail" is really great. We will take that as a warning to run for cover if one flies overhead. Keep on taking pictures. You do such a great job and bless so many by sharing.

  • Well, lets just say... I'm a bird lover from the get go! My moto is... "If I were a bird, I wouldn't be HERE!" Which I guess is why I love your pictures so much. May I say... you are so luck to have been able to see this many different species of birds in your area. I personally am a Tropical bird lover also. I have to submit my gorgeous Lorys, Greys, Lovebirds, etc online here at Webshots too. But in the mean time... I'll relish yours. Thanks for all your submissions! Dawn

  • OK so I see that Birds are definetly your specialty and no wonder you are very good at it! Great quality shots of these cute birds. I love the quail shots, he is such a handsome beauty and love the call they make! They are a pretty hard subject to capture since they are pretty skittish and move so much, so I am very impressed with your many albums of all the different species in flight or otherwise. Great job and really enjoyed viewing! Warm wishes, amy

  • Hi Janine, All these are gorgeous photos, must've taken you time to gather these altogether. We had a flicker in the yard this morning and a visit of two black-headed grosbeaks yesterday evening. The rufous chickadee, house sparrows and robins also make the yard and sometimes overhead we get the snowy egrets and the blue herons. Thank you for this showing. Nice shots. Ron/Oregon Coast

  • Hi Janine, quite a nice album you have here. It must be nice to be able to go out and watch these birds, and take good photos of them. We only have puffins, seaguls and crows here, lol. We do get the odd rare bird landing in Shetland for a breather while its going else where. All the best, George
