Thanks for your comments. Rita, I wish she were mine, is a ball of fire, bundle of energy wrapped up in one small ball of fur. My (our) dog is TR, an aging labrador. He is still lovin' life at almost 15 years. He is the 3rd one we have owned. The pictures in his albums deal mostly with his life here on our river, and visiting pooches belonging to family and neighbors. Dixieland has such a sweet face. I fell in love with her. Hi Jenny! Many thanks for your guestbook entry. I've seen a slideshow of Dixie's album. What a lovely dog she is! My cats are living in the neighbourhood and in our garden. They don't wanna live in the house, but i feed them. Sometimes there is a woodpecker in the garden, but the other birds in your album we almost don't know here in Germany. Thanks again... Volker

Hi Jenny, just stoped by to take a peek, and say hello. what a joy Dixie seems to be, my neighbor did get the female and really loves Molly, as I call her good golly miss Molly LOL... what a hand full. Great picture keep up the good work, I am still working on a new camera, mine takes blurred photo's, if you have a chance I posted Mom's African violet's, I kill everything in sight, but I beleive Mom is here taking care of her plants they are beautiful, the photo's do them no justice. I put them out on the porch, where I have 4 small windows, a heater and the temp is about 80 out there, I took the door off so the heat can circulate the house, don't tell Bob how warm it is LOL... he tells me my plants are putting him in the poor house, and this is the only reason he works LOL... Katy Did was born on the fourth of July! She will be 2 also! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIXIE!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi Jenny! Your Dixie is still a cute little baby girl:-)))))))) Our Petie is 10 and starting to show his age:-((((( I love all of Dixie's pics, she has a sparkling personality!!! You asked about my night photos of flowers. I'm sorry I will be using "thingy language" since I'm not a techno expert! A tripod makes all the difference in the world, especially at night and in low light. I push my shutter button down half way and the camera's flash strobes until it focuses and then it flashes and takes the pic. I was taking them in near total darkness. It was moon sliver, starlight darkness. I could barely see where I was going without a flashlight. (this is "thingy language" do you speak it!:-)))))) I think I scared a man walking his dog with all the strobing and flashing in the darkness! Twilight settings are great! We were clouded over for the lunar eclipse:-(((( I had everything ready and my hopes were high but mother nature interfered. How did yours turn out? You lucky duck!!!!! Hi Jenny! Bob and I appreciated the comments you made in his guestbook today. Poor Dixie! It is really hard for the sweet dogs to enjoy New Year's Eve and all that noise from the fireworks. We don't have much noise here until right at midnight and we live in a pretty large city! Bob and I are taking it easy tonight. We had a late Christmas because of the kids coming in from Ohio after Christmas Day, but we had a great time on Saturday! :-))) Happy New Year!
