Hi Janine, thanks for the invite to this nice album. We have none of that colourful birds here in Shetland, just puffins, swans and ducks, lol, not forgetting the seaguls. Loved watching this album by slideshow, all the best, George from a not so sunny Shetland.

Hi Janine, You certainly have a knack for taking the winged creatures with ease and all your pictures are quite descriptive, I really appreciate seeing the little things that make up your album and I thank you for your invitation to view. Best regards from the Oregon Coast. Ron

Hi there and thanks for the invite. Where in the world do you live to get such a nice variety of finely feathered friends. I live in Florida and maybe I don't know where to look. Loving cardinals from childhood to now, I really enjoy your closeups of bothe types of cardinals. I find it interesting that you have captured them with their beaks full. There is a look of surprise and sudden awareness in their eyes. Speaking of eyes, many of your images capture the spirit of the little one. The Northern Cardinal is funny and the 1411Black-capped Chickadee 5515 in the flowers is excellent. I enjoy your work regarding the focus of the subject with the blur of the background.. Is that the lens or image altering software? Well again thanks for the invite, birds are amazing, tough, and tenacious. Which reminds me of a short story. In my front yard a family of blue jays have a nest. A hawk comes by on a daily basis and tries to access the nest. Well needless to say about 6 to 7 jays start screaming and intimidating this hawk until it flies away at which point the chase it all over the neighborhood. I am not sure who to be worried for!! Have a great day! Eti

Thanks for letting me know about this latest album. Another terrific photo collection of your avian neighbors. That java sparrow looks like it was made from leftover spare parts!! You do a wonderful job and I look forward to seeing your next album. ~~~~Bob

Hi Jan, I really like this album. We have some of the same birds, but many in your album are not found in Michigan. That makes them VERY special. The zebra dove and the stellar jay are two that I would love to see in person. Hope you are enjoying your summer. - DeeAnne :)
