Are any of these cats even still alive? This site has not been updated since 11/18/2007! None of the dogs are current either. What chance do they have? This is so sad for them.

Ref the little black kitten. Is available NOW and in danger of being euth because of Halloween. Memphis is a high kill animal shelter. THey do not hold long. Your only hope is contacting RAOT (Responsible Animal Owners TN) and hope they can help you. They are the ones that maintain this site, it certainly isn't the shelter. This section has not been updated since Oct 3, so you will need to call to see is the kitten is even still there.

I was in the shelter tues 2/13 and saw a tabby kitten (3 or 3.5 months old)...it was brought in on 2/12...male...medium hair length...his card said that he would be available to adopt on 2/16...however I didn't see his picture listed in the "due outs" for 2/16...could you please tell me if his owner claimed him?...if not I will be there promptly at 11 on the 16th...thanks so much
