Yes, but chestnut is recessive. Nicole's dam passed on her recessive chestnut gene to Nighol instead of her dominant bay gene, and obviously passed on her dilute gene as well. I kind of wish she were perlino as I like buckskins alot too!! :)Thanks!!! Dawn Phillips dfphilli@ncsu.edu

Hello, I am a little confused about the Nighol Choice. I thought that a double-dilute out of a Palomino X Dun/buckskin was called a Perlino and not a Cremello. If not both the sire and dam are chestnut based you could be in for some nasty surprise colour-wise if it is Palominos you want. Or am I mistaken here???
