  • Dear Albie, I love all the cats in your album. You have so many, all with different colours and markings, and in different poses. It is amazing the expressions they get on their faces. Thanks for sharing. Love and best wishes, Judith, from Australia.

  • With our pictures, we will always have old memories. It is great to remember loved ones, and loved animals in our memories. I tink the impact is more imprinted in our minds because everything was so much more dramatic at that age. I have great memories too! Form one cat lover to another greetings and thanks for your comment in my Mother's Day greetings. Maxine/Michigan

  • Hi Karen - hope the update doesn't mean yet another upset as opposed to an old photo re-found. The portrait of Banshee is in the process of being framed so can't wait to send you a pic. You will, undoubtedly, notice how the little madam is starting to blossom despite still being so tiny - but certainly dynamite and full of cheek! Will e-mail you soon. Lotsaluv 'n hugs for now, Sue.

  • Hello there - I do appreciate your vist to my Tribute to Banshee and on seeing those you have lost, well understand what you must have gone through over what will have been a lifetime of many memories. As you stated, Banshee was one of those very special cats and it just seems so very unfair that he had to go the way he did in the prime of his life. Boris and Bruno are most extraordinary - I am guessing they are a Siamese breed but have never seen any with such dark bodies (Banshee was a Sealpoint). As you well know, Siamese certainly do have something very different and special about them. It wasn't until I got Banshee that I realised this myself - you will note in my cat album that he is the only cat we've had that hasn't been a 'moggy supreme'! Many thanks for your very encouraging and supportive entry and for taking the time, albeit that Keith was the kind person who passed the details of my album onto you, to look at my Tribute - I do look forward to seeing more of your own albums. Clearly you are a cat lover yourself and like myself, have had the pleasure of having in addition to others in the house, my own four legged furries in way of felines almost all my life. Best wishes, Sue from South Africa

  • HI; Thank you so much for viewing some of my cat Albums. Your Tribute to all of your Kitties is a wonderful way to remember them. Actually all the kitties in my Albums , except for Princess Have gone over the RainBow Bridge. Like yours most of them lived long lives. I lost 3 17 year olds in the past year. They all came to use at about the same time and they all left. It has been extremely difficult. Due to our age we seriously debated if we should get another cat. My Vet. encouraged us to do so. After looking at hundreds of cats on the SPCA sites I fell in love with Princess Tammara. We we went to see her she seemed to take to us right away, so we immediately adopted her. She had sores on her body, and twitched all over. The diagnosis was extreme allergies. The Vet bill was over a Thousand dollars for all kinds of tests and treatments. She was so listless and quiet I thought I had another geriatric cat. Princess is between 1 and 2 years old. It has taken about 4 months for her to regain her health. She is fine now, and is very, very lively. She is an indoor cat now. I take her out to the garden on a leish which she enjoys. She is naughty and loves to scratch the furnature. She has many types of scratching posts and boxes, but she prefers my antique chairs. Do you have any remedies for this? Did you know some of the Katrina cats were sent to Canada? We had about 50 or more come to our area. They are all in Foster care. I feel so sorry for the cats in Viet Nam. Cat is on the menu there. It is so hot there, that it is difficult to keep cats in the house all the time. If they are healthy and well looked after they are targets for someone's dinner. Nice Mindy is now about 7 years old. Most of the people in her neighbourhood know she is the beloved pet of my friend Tie. Tie was the first child we sponsored through World Vision back in the early 1970ies. We lost contact with her, but found each other again a few years ago. She still lives in Ho Chi Minh City and now we email each other almost every day. She loves cats, and is so amazed at the way cats are looked after in America, and Canada. Tie took the photos in "Nice Mindy and the Kittens", album. Nice Mindy is now spade, and wont have any more kittens. Thank you for your kind words in my albums. And thank you for sharing your delightful albums. Princess wants breakfast so I must go . I'm going to add you to my favourites. Sandie/Canada

  • Well, here I am crying again! what a heart wrenching tribute to these fine felines! I should have waited a few days down the road to visit THIS album! I spent all day yesterday crying about Ms Daisy after learning the news that she is actually gone. Now this. Anyway, it's a beautiful tribute by a devoted and loving "mom" to her precious babies. As Arnold said..."I'll be back" when I can view the whole album with only a few sniffles...instead of a torrent of sobs. Char
