  • Wonderful, Kat. You have done a great job here. We cat addicted people need others to understand us. Kitsy was my first cat, but as you can see in the photo, I was pretty young. I now have 14 cats living in my home...all strays. Plus I feed other outdoor strays and try to spay and neuter when I can. Keep up the good work, Kat purringly yours, Sally

  • Hi Karen; What a sweet album. Many of us started quite young with our love of cats. I have a photo of my Father taken more than 80 years ago and he is holding his first cat. I have it in his memory album if you would like to come and take a look. All of his life he had cats and he never forgot about any of them. They loved them as if they were his children with little daily rituals. Thank you for sharing a most memorable album. Best Wishes and a very happy new year. Marjie/Olympia,WA

  • Hi Kat, thanks for stopping by and thanks for your kind words. i suppose it was an interesting life but when it's your own "it sorta just is what it is". i was very envious of kids who had what i called normal lives, parents, house, same schools, etc. trade off, i guess. so you can see which album i picked to reply in! childhood addiction, hmmmm, do you suppose that had anything to do with the field you went into!!??!! Cheers! Leslie, Nanaimo, BC

  • Karen, Thank you so much for your comments on my Roses, Roses, Roses album. I have other photos to add to it that are even better than the ones there now. So, maybe check back there next week. I do take alot of similar shots and then can't decide which ones to upload. I love this album of yours - Cat Addiction. I think you and I used the same wonderful old Kodak camera. I never thought about it -- but my love of photography continued from age 10 until now (47 years of photo taking -- eek, I should be a better photographer. ha ha) Thanks again!. Debbie ~ Maryland

  • Hi Kat, this is a glorious album recording the cats that have passed though your life. You may be interested to visit my friend Sue’s (sbirkhead) cat albums and pass on a greeting. She recently lost a cat and is grieving. Thanks for sharing, and for your recent comments on my guestbook. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and the new year, from Keith in Sydney.

  • HI Again, I know that Cat addition begins early in life. I fell in love with a neighbours kittens when I was about 4 years old. When my favourite kitten was old enough the neighbour brought it to my house in a covered basket and presented it to me. My mother protested but soon came to love that cute mischievious ball of fluff. That wonderful kitty lived to be 18 years old and had many kittens of her own. That was more than 60 years ago, and I have had cats ever since. It is wonderful that you have early photos of your cats. I have only one or two photos, but I have wonderful memories. Sandie/canada

  • Hi Kat! Nice album full of memories! Yes I do live in Chester County. Born and Raised. We purchased a home in Berks County so we will be moving the middle of this month. Currently I reside just outside of Downingtown. I believe some photos you recognize may be Wishahicken? I have visited Valley Forge Park...but do not recall if I took photos...lol..Oh yes, maybe I did... Oh yeh, Lucky is spoiled and she loves every moment of it! She was a rescue...and she is a WATCH Cat at that! It is unbelievable. VERY VERY Independent she is! If one does not abide by her wants, she literally will start biting at your ankles until she gets her way! I have never had a cat like her before...LOL....But hey, these are the things that make LUCKY who she is! Have a great day! Smiles!! Sharon from PA

  • Hey Karen, Cool to reminisce over the years with you. Who is Joanne ? That is my given name, although I never use it. Just a note to let you know I took a look, and keep up with your new additions. Amanda :)
