I love your pictures and you obviously love birds! I am looking for a hand-fed parakeet or two!!! We had one for years. His name was Sunny and he was such a big part of our family. We miss him so much (he died in May). He had the best personality, talked, etc... Please let me know where you are located!! Thanks!

Just lost our Elvis after 6 years. Talked and was part of the family. Sat on the cat's head. Got Pricilla for Elvis a year ago. She doesn't know what to do. Would like to get a maleagain and know how hard it is to sex before a year old. Were hoping for a Lisa Marie. Would like to breed. Had 2 parakeets 20 years ago that after 2 years mated. Eggs were scrambled on bottom of cage. Even with a nesting box. Would like more info on a possible young male. Out of 20 some of these birds. Elvis was the only 1 to talk. Please respond. brucehet@aol.com

The babies are so cute! This weekend one of my pairs had two eggs hatch. I welcome any advice you can give on hand feeding. I have hand fed wild birds before (ravens, starlings, robins, etc.) but they were fully feathered and I am guessing at least 2-3 weeks old. When should I start hand feeding these little tikes?

Ohh, how cute! The pictures bring back memories of when I raised parakeets during high school. Thanks for sharing them with everybody! Nathan

I think your pictures are beautiful. I do not know where you are locaed but if you are close to me I would like to know if you have any hand fed baby keets available at this time. They are really hard to find in this area. If you go to a pet store they are not had fed and really hard to find out the age of the birds. I am in St. Peters MO. Last time I tried to buy a parakeet the girl said that she "thought&quo t; they were between 8-12 weeks old. She really was not sure. Could you please E-mail me. I am codybird7@charter.net. I love the color of the one in photo #2. I also love the bright lime green/yellow. If you are not within driving distance do you have any suggestions what I can do. Thank you. If you could E-mail me I can give you my phone and you could call me. I would not mind making a drive if I had to. Thank you again. codybird7@charter.net Jane

I am a long way from you but I love your birds! I can't find a local breeder so I have to rely on pet stores--uggggg. Your loveing pictures show me how much better it is to use a breeder!! Great pictures. Jennifer

your budgies are adorable!love the lil'ones.i had two budgies unforunatly they didn't have there wings clipped and my brother let them out of their cage and they flew out an open window.they were in a 18' by 18' cage but moved to a much bigger cage you will see one photo of the improvement of wing expandence for them,it could atleast fit 4 parrots of more, and the photo is just half the cage.now as they flew away we brought a green one named peaches that looks like the green one we had kelly, and got a yellow one named cream, photos comming soon.so far you can see our last pair of budgies.right now peaches & cream are flying all over my room (well if hopping is flying) and sure are more then happy to have this priviledge instead of the flee market in the hot sun and a crowded cage.to see kelly & nelly got to http://community.webshots.com/user/exorcistgirl2002 just love love love the pics!
