Hi Mary! I'm honored to be the first to sign your guestbook for this wonderful album! All of the photos are exquisite, but my favorites are the parrots - you've captured their playful and affection nature along with their beatiful plumage. Congratulations! And thank you so much for your kind words in my featured album guestbook today. That was another honor and as you said, it was a fantastic trip. Warm greetings from California, Beth

Hi Mary, What a great collection! And what a great place the Bloedel Conservatory must be, to have such a wonderful collection in such a beautiful setting. I particularly like your shots of the pheasants, but most of all your shot of the Turaco. You have such great skill with all you photograph! Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. I'm sorry hurricane Wilma didn't give me a chance to reply earlier, but I thank you now for your very generous comments recently on my black and white flowers. Most of the color versions can be found in my other flower albums.

Wow Mary, I see why your Bird Collections are so popular!! Your portraiture imagery is excellent, filled with brilliant colors, focus and presentations!! As Paul said, it must be a great experience to have access to the Bloedel Conservatory...a Wonderful opportunity that you have succeeded in presenting to us here in this Superb Portfolio, Bravo!!! Many thanks for sharing these beautiful feathered friends with us, and also for your kind comments in my bird collections! I shot with the Pro90IS for 2 years, then the DRebel (all my bird & action images) for 1 1\2 years, now the 30D for past 6 months! Just got the 24-105L (sold Canon 100 macro and the 70-200 f4.0 to get it) and love it...great walk around lens (shot the plantation collections with)! All of my bird albums were with the 100-400L and WA captures same as you, 17-40L!! Would love to get into some f2.8 fast glass, but too much weight and $$$! Except for some low light and fast action challenges, believe "we" have a great lens compliment!! As you, first exposure to photography was 4 years ago...happy that community members, such as yourself, are mentors for me to learn from!!! Take Care...GB, Ted

Loved this collection of birds from the Bloedel Conservatory very much. I keep coming back to see them again and again, downloading some I missed the last time around. Magnificent photos, but would have loved to know the names for some of them. Some I could find myself and have tried to let you know the names when I have them, but some I just can't find anywhere. LOVED THE PHOTOS, though, and thank you very much for the pleasures.
