Hello Sylvia Thanks for letting the public know about the horrible situation at MAS. I recently emailed Memphis Council members about MAS and have received 3 replies so far. Late last week, Carol Chumney, council member, had this to say in answer to my email: I intend to look into this. Please check with my office in a week to see what we have arranged. I too have e-mailed the person who oversees the MAS, I have recieved no response as yet. Thanks for letting the world know about this. I will e-mail the council members and maybe some good will come out of it if enough people know the situation. Liz Timpane, Spring Creek Farm Animal Rescue, MA

I now have recieved a response from the city council that the issues at MAS will be on their next town meeting schedule for Aug. 3rd and they are scheduling a tour of the facility! Let's hope that something good is about to happen...

I just wanted to say that your photo album is very heartfelt. I too work for a shelter and see so many beautiful animals become only memories. Thank you for keeping thier memories alive.

When I saw all these pictures of these poor dogs with big eyes, I cried. I just wanted to extend by gratatude for speaking out about this.
