  • Dear Karin, I love your cats! I have 7 Siamese and one Oriental Short Hair, and I love the lynx. Your babies look so content, not at all like the caged babies of catteries in the States, or even the nicer ones here in Canada. I've bred once, but I'm in a wheelchair, and with 4 busy bodies thinking I was a toy, it was too hard for me to try again, though an Okonnor stud waited. My pick was Dragonstar Li Ling, a positively stunning spotted lynx. He's also my sweet, gentle man. I do treasure my Webshots of such clean cats with happiness written all over them.   • Lovely cats! And lovely shots! My favorites were Zanzibari (today is Friday and I feel like lying on the floor like him)Treviso and Wilco. I used to have cats when I was young. One of them, named Pamela, got bored when I slept late and woke me up softly putting her paws (nails up, of course) on my eyelids. They're lovely creatures.

  • Hello Karin, You've a way with shooting these felines, descriptions and stories are fine too. The 'aka white rat' is beautiful, although I'd have to have you tell me what breed it is, exactly, don't have a clue.   • Hello, Karin. The photo #12, Angelikas Zanzibari cat, is a beautiful cat. She looks very much like one of my cats, same fluffy tail, same green eyes, and she can be wild! She was born wild, and she has never become completely tame. She will only come to me for petting when everyone else is asleep. Her name is Puff, because she is soft like a powder puff. Your photos are very good.

You should be aware that "main" is an English word, meaning "primary" or "central." "Maine" is one of the fifty United States. That state is where the coon cat comes from, so the proper spelling is "Maine Coon Cat."   • What a magnificent cat. We had one with a personality like that, but couldn't give him enough attention so we gave him to friends in Albuquerque where he chases dogs and other things. Tried to make him indoor cat, but he wouldn't have any of it :)
