Just a quick note to let everyone know that Cricket was put to sleep a few months ago..I just could not let him suffer any longer, his nose was raw from banging into things as he was completely blind and he started having problems where he could not eat anymore, I will always miss him and he will forever be in my heart....thanks for all the laughter you brought into my life Cricket. Hope to see you again in heaven.
Hello it is very difficult to find a Cairn Terrier, I think the best place to look is in the C.K.C. or the A.K.C. Club for breeders..Hopefully you will find one there..it took me 3 years to find a Cairn.
Good Luck
Why my heart is so full of love for this little guy is he has come so close to death so many times ...when he was a baby he had kennel cough, plus parvo. and many more sicknesses..then he swallowed a peach pit and had to have his bowels open from the top of his bowels to the bottom, and the had to remove part of his bowel..then shortly after this (2 weeks) he fell 20 feet and broke his shoulder and leg and now he is almost blind...but nothing hampers his cheerful attitude..he loves life, no matter what horrible things happy to him..they say a cat has 9 lives, well my little guy must have more.
This dog has suffered more than most, and I just pray that his last days will be without pain....I love you Cricket
someone asked where to find a Cairn..the best place is a person who breeds Cairns and also make sure you get a warrenanty if there is anything wrong with the puppy or dog they will give you your money back for the first year of purchase..also go to the library and see if there is any books on this breed...
Sorry i took so long to answer your question...tinka4
