Hi,Mary! What an amazing & gorgeous photos you took! I'd make a bet that you were the one who turned the ugly ducking into a swan in the fable!! LOL!! You are quite gifted & I THANKYOU for the privelege of being able to enjoy your photos with a lot of joy!!! I am curious about those American Widgeons-they do look like a hybrid of a Pidgeon-could you let me know? Anyway....Gorgeous & BEAUTIFUL,my friend!!!! Rita auroraborealis@shaw.ca

Hi Mary! beautiful bird photos. Great swan, macaw and goosling photos!!! Thanks for you kind words in my guestbook on the Keukenhof. Glad you enjoyed it too. It was so much fun to make the photos there with my new Nikon 8700. Everything you want was there; beautiful sunny weather, the most beautiful and proud flowers of Holland all over the place, my new love my lightweight camera which gives me the opportunity to choose with a little zoomknob whether this will be a landscape or a macro… yes …no. ….?....no better landscape here…. It is all great fun! Many people entered my Keukenhof guestbook (so far 13 pages…) It’s a feast to read all those messages!! I could not believe my eyes!!! I hope you don’t mind I send you also some text which I sent to others too. Greetings and thanks for tiptoe-ing in my tulips. Anna Oldenhave, The Netherlands

Hi! I'm glad that you enjoyed my birds album. To answer your question, My camera is a Canon 10D. I have quite an assortment of lenses. My favorite wildlife lenses are my Canon EF 300mm L IS 4.0 lens. I also use my Canon EF 100-400mm L IS zoom lens. Both are excellent lenses. You have some fantastic photos on your site too. Bill
