  • Hi Ginny, Glad all is well in your world, thanks for the entry in my guest book... I'm sure Angel will stop picking at her wings I know this can be frustrating because Mango used to bite his tail feathers off... We gave him lot's of wood to chew on and this kept him occupied and soon he was growing tail feathers, he now has 10 of the 12 and they are all perfect... Take care and wish you a happy 2006. Chaz T. Charles and Val Turner

  • Hi there! Wonderful new pics of Mango. I wish Angel's feathers were as beautiful as his. She has all her chest feathers but is still picking at the wings. She used to look like Mango. Maybe some day she will get over this behavior but once they start it is difficult. Anyway, thanks for sharing your pictures with all of us and you all have a wonderful holiday and super new year 2006. Everything is good in my world and all the birds are great. Take care, Ginny

  • Hi Ann, Thank you for signing my guestbook... I have been looking at some of your albums, Little Charlie is a sweetheart, you have been to many of the places thai I have lived, i.e. Buchart Gardens, we lived within 1 mile of the gardens, as a former water service technician I serviced the fountains and pumps for Buchart Gdns. My wife Val and I are from Lancs England we used to visit Chester zoo with our little girl back in the 60s... Looks like your grand kids like to have lot;s of fun, we have 4 grand kids two here in Calgary Canada and two in Orange County California. Thanks again and take care.... Charles T.

  • Been a while since I visited you even though you are on my list of favorite users. I'm Ginny Runyan in St. Louis with the Moluccan and all the other birds. Sometimes my Angel looks as pink as yours and other times she doesn't. Not sure why. I feed her really good food and all the natural stuff she's supposed to have. Love the new tree! My macaws are visiting a friend in the country as I am in the process of selling my home - I'll get them back in the fall. Take care!

  • I certainly enjoyed your albums! Thank you for sharing! I currently have around 700 pet birds. Nearly all are hand-raised from hatch and extremely tame. We also have dogs and cats, chickens and iguanas. Being such an animal and bird lover I always enjoy seeing other people's pictures too. Mango is beautiful! If you have time please sign my guestbook at: http://community.webshots.com/user/jmthornsberry

  • Thank you chipgeorgie for your entry into "Mango's" guestbook... He is a truly beautiful bird... He has a lot of notoriety at the present... He is being featured on the TV program "Pet Project". Hope you are able to see him and the story he has to tell.... Mango was kidnapped from a pet store prior to our buying him, you can read his story on the web www.calgaryparrotclub.com look for "Charles & Val's bird..." under Members... Enjoy

  • Great shot of your Molucan, we have several that are breeding birds and one baby who is now 1 year old. They are a wonderful companion, but then all birds are, thanks for sharing your images. Hope you will always have birds

  • Thanks for signing my guest book. You say Mango is your first - it probably won't be your last. Is Maxie yours also? Is Mango a male or female? I started out with an African Grey and within 18 months I added all the others. Seems like people with birds end up with many. It's addictive! I always slice the oranges and Angel drops a lot of her food. She's a little clumsy - think I'll try a whole orange next time. I have been putting the orange pieces on a kabob for her.

  • Great pics! I have a Moluccan named Missy and sometimes we call her Angel - not often - we have an African Grey, 2 Blue and Gold Macaws and a Caique! Your pictures are very clear and your birds are beautiful! Visit me at ginny's birds

  • Mango is beautiful! I too have a Moluccan Cockatoo, and know how much fun they can have, especially with oranges and faucets.
