Hello! Is your cat Bear a Chartreux? He is beautiful and could pretend to be one even if he is not! Thx for your reply

Hello Again! I have a DEAR, DEAR "pound cat," named Trouble (you can see her in my album on here if interested -- we think she & her brother were Maine Coons, by their size and temperment), who is getting a bit senile, though she's only 15 yrs. old. I have a very aggressive form of breast cancer, and while I have had one breast removed, I did have nodes positive for cancer. did the whole "show" of chemo and radiation, and am only NOW beginning to gain a little bit of strenght back. Regardless of all of THAT....YEARS ago, I went to a cat show in boston, where they had Bombay cats. When I did a search for "bombay cats," your albums came up. Are Bear and littermates Bombays? I think (so not sure...) that they might be Absynians (sp?), but seem to have too much hair! Though they also don't have the black fur, round, round face and yellow/orange eyes I associate with Bombays. So...they are ABSOLUTELY beatiful, and am interested in knowing just what type of cats they are, are they purebred or poorlybred (our Himalayan in "poorly bred," but still a looker, just the same!), and where did you get them? I know I've just BOMBARDED you with a TON of questions, and if / when you have the time, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could answer them for me :-) Warm regards, Connierc -- webshots name conniercassidy@hotmail.co m - to respond to me, if you want.

Oh, my, this is just PRECIOUS! Bear in the sink is a WONDERFUL photo -- thank you so very much for sharing it with us! We have a cat who would LOVE to sleep in the clothes washer, so we always have to be ON THE LOOKOUT whenever we use it, as you might imagine! One day, with a very young Himalayan, we just COULD NOT find her. We searched high and low, tore the house apart, went beserk looking for her, since she was small and new to the home. Well, FINALLY, I heard this little sound, coming from the screened in porch, which I had checked ovrer and over again. Then inspiration struck: the empty trash cans. Yup, when I lifte the lid, there she was, at the bottom -- this litle white cat in a huge black trash bin. She had jumped on the lid, which was upside down, it turned on her, and dumped her in the bin. One of those stories you'll just NEVER forget! Much like this FANTASTIC picture of BEAR sleeping in the sink! Does he still do it, or has he gotten too big for it? Thank you for a wonderful laugh at the end of a very long day! warm regards, Connierc conniercassidy@hotmail.co m
