  • To own one, I had to get a permit from the state. It all depends on where you live because the laws are different from state to state. Amber, is a sweetheart, but you do have to remember she is a wild cat and needs a lot of attention and she is a lot of work. But, it is work that we love. Yes, she loves other people. Come to our home and she will greet you by jumping on your shoulders. We frequently take her into PetSmart with us, she loves car rides too. We also have 7 domestic cats in the home that she just loves.   • Hi it's me again. Wow!! what a beautiful cat I wasn't sure if it was a bob cat.Looked like one but I didn't think you could own one..How is Amber's temperament?? Do you have to keep in mind that she is a wild animal or is she just a big ##### cat..and is she ok with other people besides your family?? Just curious... Patty
